糖心传媒 is an organisation whose work impacts across the lands of Australia and New Zealand.

糖心传媒 acknowledges the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the original Australians and the M膩ori People as the tangata whenua (Indigenous) Peoples of Aotearoa (New Zealand). We recognise them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.

We pay our respects to them and to their Elders, both past, present and emerging, and we recognise their enduring connection to the lands we live and work on, and honour their ongoing connection to those lands, its waters and sky.

Professor Geoffrey McColl

MEd, PhD, FRACP, MBBS, BMedSci

Professor McColl retired as the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Queensland in 2025.

Prior to his role at UQ, Professor McColl held a number of senior executive positions in medicine including as Head of the Melbourne Medical School at the University of Melbourne where he led the development and implementation of the university鈥檚 medical degree.

Professor McColl was a long-term member of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) and previously chair of the TGA Advisory Committee on Medicines.聽He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and a member of the Australian Rheumatology Association.

Professor McColl was previously the Deputy President of the 糖心传媒 and Chair of the Medical School Assessment Committee.

He is a Member of the 糖心传媒 Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Investment Reserves Advisory Group.

 

Professor Papaarangi Reid

BSc, MBChB, Dip.Obs, Dip.ComH, FNZCPHM

Professor Reid is Tumuaki – Deputy Dean (M膩ori) and and Head of Department of M膩ori Health at the University of Auckland / Waipapa Taumata Rau.

Professor Reid is a Specialist Academic in Public Health Medicine, a Professor in Indigenous Health, a Fellow of the New Zealand College of Public Health Medicine and was awarded an honorary fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Professor Reid has served on the 糖心传媒 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and M膩ori Committee, the Medical School Accreditation Committee and several accreditation assessment teams.

 

Dr Tammy Kimpton

BMed, MAVMed, FRACGP

Dr Kimpton is supervisor and practice owner at Scone Medical Practice. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Kimpton has served as a Director of the Australian Indigenous Doctors鈥 Association and is a member of the 糖心传媒 Specialist Education Accreditation Committee and the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and M膩ori Committee.

 

Dr Elizabeth Rushbrook, CSC

MBBS, MHA, FRACMA

Dr Rushbrook is Chief Medical Officer of Metro North Health. She is a Specialist Medical Administrator and has held senior roles in government, public health and defence.

Dr Rushbrook has extensive experience in emergency and disaster management, business continuity, medical workforce wellbeing and management and clinical governance. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, and a Founding Director of Disaster Relief Australia.

Dr Rushbrook is a Member of the 糖心传媒 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and M膩ori Committee and the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee.

Mr Tom Symonds

BScPsych (Hons), MBA (Health), GAICD

Mr Symonds is the Executive Director of Health Translation SA.

He has held a number of leadership roles in the health, university and government sectors including most recently as Innovation Ecosystem Manager at the Department of Premier & Cabinet, South Australian Government.

Mr Symonds has extensive experience in governance and risk management and a deep knowledge of health system, service provision and workforce. He has served as a community member of the South Australian Boards of the Medical Board of Australia, and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Mr Symonds is Chair of the 糖心传媒 Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee, and serves on the Assessment Committee.

Professor Shaun Ewen

D.Ed (Melb), MIntS, BAppSc (Physiotherapy)聽

Professor Ewen is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) at Griffith University. Prior to joining Griffith University, he was the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Place and Indigenous) and Foundation Director of the Melbourne Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne.

Professor Ewen was also a visiting Professor of Indigenous Health and Leadership in the School of Global Affairs, King鈥檚 College London, and led the Indigenous medical workforce development program (LIME) in collaboration with the Medical Deans Australia and New Zealand.

Professor Cheryl Jones FAHMS

MBBS (Hons), PhD, FRACP, GAICD

Professor Jones is the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of NSW. She is a Senior Staff Specialist, Infectious Diseases, for the Sydney Children鈥檚 Hospital Network (Westmead) and a Director of Australian Academy Health and Medical Sciences (Treasurer); Ramsay Health Research Foundation (Chair), Children鈥檚 Cancer Institute, NeuRA, Mindgardens Neuroscience Network Ltd, Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Black Dog Institute.

Professor Jones is a highly experienced health and medical educator and clinician researcher has held senior executive positions of medical faculties at the Universities of Sydney and Melbourne and is a leader in infectious diseases research and practice.

Professor Jones is a world authority on childhood infectious diseases. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. She is a former President/Board Chair of the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases and has served on multiple statutory authorities including NSW Medical Council and Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI).

Professor Jane Dahlstrom OAM

MBBS (Hons), PhD, FPAC, FRCPA, FFOP, FFS

Professor Dahlstrom is Emeritus Professor at the School of Medicine and Psychology in the College of Science and Medicine, Australian National University (ANU).

Professor Dahlstrom is a clinician scientist who led the anatomical teaching program for the ANU鈥檚 medical school from 2003. She was Chair and Professor of Pathology in the College of Health and Medicine, interim Dean of the College of Health and Medicine and held the roles of SubDean and later acting head of the Canberra Clinical School for the medical program.

Professor Dahlstrom was the Executive Director of ACT Pathology at Canberra Health Services (CHS) and full-time staff specialist in anatomical pathology, ACT Pathology, at the Canberra Hospital.

Professor Dahlstrom is a Member of the 糖心传媒 Investment Reserve Advisory Group.

Professor Alison Jones

BA (Hons), PhD, GAICD

Professor Jones brings extensive experience in medical education, accreditation, governance and health workforce development. She has held senior leadership roles across government, university, specialty medical college and accreditation settings in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Professor Jones has had a long association with the 糖心传媒, having contributed to a range of 糖心传媒 accreditation activities, including as Chair of 糖心传媒 accreditation teams, Deputy Chair of the Cosmetic Surgery Accreditation Committee, Chair of the Cosmetic Surgery Technical Advisory Group, and Chair of the 糖心传媒 Working Group for the Review of Specialist Medical Program Standards. She was also a member of the Prevocational Standards Accreditation Committee from 2017 to 2019.

Professor Robyn Langham AM

MBBS (Hons), PhD, FRACP

Professor Langham is an adjunct Professor of Medicine, at Monash University and the University of Melbourne. A nephrologist by training, she is an internationally recognised medical specialist and clinician researcher, with extensive experience in Public Hospital and University sectors, as well as governance and regulatory oversight.

Professor Langham is the Chief Medical Adviser at the Therapeutic Goods Administration, and chairs the Human Research and Ethics Committee at the Royal Children鈥檚 Hospital in Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.

Professor Langham is a Member of the 糖心传媒 Investment Reserves Advisory Group.
