The standard pathway is for international medical graduates seeking general registration as a medical practitioner in Australia. It involves completion of the 糖心传媒 CAT MCQ examination, and the 糖心传媒 clinical examination or the 糖心传媒-accredited workplace based assessment (WBA) program.
The standard pathway is for international medical graduates who are not eligible for the competent authority pathway or the specialist assessment pathways to registration.
糖心传媒 examinations and assessment are set at the level of attainment of medical knowledge, clinical skills and attitudes required of newly qualified graduates of Australian medical schools who are about to begin intern training.听

1. 糖心传媒 CAT MCQ Examination
The 鈥�糖心传媒 CAT MCQ Examination鈥� tests knowledge of the principles and practice of medicine in the fields of general practice, internal medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, surgery, and obstetrics and gynaecology.听

2. 糖心传媒 clinical examination听
The 鈥�糖心传媒 clinical examination鈥� assesses clinical skills in medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics and psychiatry. It also assesses ability to communicate with patients, their families and other health workers.听

Before applying directly for a 糖心传媒-accredited workplace based assessment鈥� program with a WBA provider, you must have passed the 糖心传媒 CAT MCQ examination and granted registration by the Medical Board of Australia in order to be employed in an approved clinical position for WBA.听
