There are four pathways:听听

• Standard pathway听
• Competent authority pathway听
• Specialist pathway (Expedited Specialist pathway, Specialist recognition, Specialist area of need)
• Short term training in a medical specialty pathway.听听

The 糖心传媒 manages the assessment process for the standard pathway (糖心传媒 assessments) only; it does not assess IMGs on the competent authority pathway or SIMGs on specialist pathway (Expedited specialist pathway, recognition or area of need), or short-term training in a medical specialty pathway. 听

The 糖心传媒 has no role in processing applications for registration or in granting registration which is a function of the (the Board).听

International medical graduates who wish to practise medicine in Australia will need to complete a pathway to be eligible for registration with the Board.听

The 糖心传媒 manages the primary source verification of medical credentials related to these pathways:听

Competent authority pathway
If you are seeking general registration, have an eligible medical degree (final medical diploma/primary qualification) and have confirmed you are eligible for competent authority assessment by the .听

Specialist pathway
If you are a SIMG seeking specialist recognition /applying for an area of need specialist level position with an eligible medical degree and relevant specialist qualifications, training and experience.听

If you are a SIMG seeking specialist registration via the with an eligible medical degree and eligible specialist qualification on the .

Short-term training in a medical specialty pathway
If you are an overseas-trained specialist seeking short-term specialist training with a specialist level position and an eligible medical degree and relevant specialist qualifications, training and experience.听
