Steps to establish an 糖心传媒 portfolio

There are six steps to complete an application.听

These steps must be completed in order:听

Step 1 鈥� Confirm your medical school, medical degree title and graduation year eligibility听

Step 2 鈥� Create a account and establish an EPIC

Validation data transfers from ECFMG to the 糖心传媒 only after your MyIntealth account has been created AND EPIC portfolio has been successfully established and is active. Once it is active, you can proceed to create your 糖心传媒 account and submit your initial portfolio application (Step 3 and 4).

Step 5 鈥� Proceed with your eligible pathway听

Step 6 鈥� Qualification(s) to be verified (this process can be before, during or after the 糖心传媒 account and portfolio process)

Step 1 鈥� Confirm your medical school, medical degree title and graduation year eligibility

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who have a medical degree (final medical diploma/medical degree) in clinical medicine and surgery awarded by a training institution as outlined in the steps are eligible to proceed.

Step 2 鈥� Create a MyIntealth account and establish an EPIC portfolio

MyIntealth is the online platform used by the 糖心传媒 to confirm that your medical credentials are authentic and acceptable. It is a service offered by ECFMG.

Create a account and establish an EPIC

ECFMG usually provide your MyIntealth ID to you within 3 business days.

Validation data transfers from ECFMG to the 糖心传媒 only after your MyIntealth account has been created AND EPIC portfolio has been successfully established and is active. Once it is active, you can proceed to create your 糖心传媒 account and submit your initial portfolio application (Step 3 and 4).

Step 3 鈥� Create an 糖心传媒 account

You must have an 糖心传媒 account so that information and documents can be shared between you and the 糖心传媒, and the 糖心传媒 can provide you with access to our services. You cannot establish an initial portfolio without an 糖心传媒 account.

• If you do not have an 糖心传媒 account, you must create one.听
• If you created an 糖心传媒 account prior to 1 October 2015, you need to create a new account. 听
• If you created an 糖心传媒 account after 1 October 2015, you can sign in.听

Step 4 鈥� Establish an 糖心传媒 initial portfolio

NOTE: Check the FAQs to determine if you need to establish an 糖心传媒 initial portfolio.听

Once you have completed Steps 1 and 2 (and 3 if not already created) and have your MyIntealth ID, you can establish an 糖心传媒 initial portfolio.听

All new applicants without an 糖心传媒 number must establish an 糖心传媒 initial portfolio.

The 糖心传媒 initial portfolio is an online application method.

The following types of are NOT eligible/acceptable to be added to an 糖心传媒 account. An administration processing fee will be charged if you add non-eligible document details to your 糖心传媒 account when applying, such as: 听

• medical registrations/license to practise听
• PhDs听
• research听
• internship/ housemanship/ foundation documents听
• partially completed training credentials/qualifications听
• scientific (for e.g. Bachelor of Science)听
• short courses
• Australian/Australasian qualifications.听

If any are added to an 糖心传媒 portfolio, these will NOT appear on your 糖心传媒 account.听

Your 糖心传媒 initial portfolio application will be reviewed within 5 糖心传媒 business days.

Your 糖心传媒 number and other options are available to you in your 糖心传媒 account.

On your landing page, by selecting the links, you can view/download your:

• Tax Invoice/Receipt and application Acknowledgement Confirmation; and
• Application PDF

Fees apply when establishing the initial 糖心传媒 initial portfolio and adding additional qualification(s) to be reviewed by the 糖心传媒. Refer to听 fees and charges including the refund structure.

Step 5 鈥� Proceed with your eligible pathway

A verification status of an eligible medical degree is required to proceed with the 糖心传媒 examination and assessment process.

Specialist medical colleges will require verification of:

• medical degree (not Australian or New Zealand) and;
• the relevant and acceptable specialist qualification(s) and/or postgraduate credential(s).

Step 6 鈥� Qualification(s) to be verified

You must add all eligible qualification(s) verified by ECFMG to your 糖心传媒 account (by initial portfolio application or if already submitted by an additional qualification application(s).

This will then allow the 糖心传媒 to update your verification status once received from ECFMG. The 糖心传媒 cannot update your verification status – “Request verified” to 鈥測es鈥� without receiving the verification report.听

The verification information is made available through the 糖心传媒 secure portal to the:听

• Medical Board of Australia for registration purposes听听
• Relevant specialist college(s) nominated by the candidate for specialist assessment purposes.

The verification process can be completed simultaneously with the 糖心传媒 account and portfolio process.

Confirm with the relevant specialist medical college as to which of the postgraduate credential(s) and/or specialist qualification(s) you hold are required to be verified and stated on your 糖心传媒 account for their specialist assessment process.

Confirm with the Medical Board of Australia as to which qualifications are required (for competent authority and expedited specialist pathways) to be verified and stated on your 糖心传媒 account for registration purposes.

Ensure you follow ECFMG’s instructions for the verification process.

It is important to note that this recognition does not impact the application and verification processes undertaken by the 糖心传媒 (糖心传媒). The 糖心传媒’s procedures remain unchanged, and applicants should continue to follow the established guidelines and requirements when establishing an 糖心传媒 portfolio and/or progressing with the 糖心传媒s assessment processes as part of the Medical Board of Australia’s registration requirements.
