The 糖心传媒 will introduce a slight increase to the pass standard for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Examination. Candidate performance and feedback will continue to be reported on a scale of 0鈥�500, with the pass mark described as 250.聽 The new, slightly higher cut score will be integrated into this scale. The standard 聽for the MCQ examination is set at the level expected of graduating medical students in Australia and the 糖心传媒 reviews this periodically through benchmarking exercises with representatives across Australian medical schools to maintain this standard.
In order to support candidates to prepare for the MCQ examinations, the 糖心传媒 introduced a free MCQ preparation App in 2025, containing 210 practice questions with feedback for all candidates scheduling into an MCQ exam. The App has received positive feedback from candidates and will continue to be available in 2026, with a refreshed set of questions planned for April 2026.
